CCABC remains squarely focused on having a meaningful impact in both environmental and social Sustainability work. Our health and well-being activities span co-hosting the Rugby Sevens event on an annual basis, supporting school family activity days and summer camps, charitable water donations during the Holy month of Ramadan, the Global Village, specific wellness events in conjunction with Fitness First Gyms and leveraging these events as an opportunity to educate visitors to the event/consumers not only on health, nutrition and exercise but also on the importance of environmental stewardship and recycling. The Global Village attracts over 5 million visitors per annum whilst the Rugby Sevens hosts over 100,000.
Most recently, we have brought the internationally successful Copa Coca-Cola initiative to Oman. Having already touched the lives of more than 600,000 students in the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia this initiative represents a unique opportunity for young Omani players to showcase their talents with a view to providing a platform for nurturing local talent for many years to come. Connecting with our local communities is of paramount importance to our organization; in partnership with TCCC we have launched the Crazy for Good campaign, ARWA Low Sodium re-branding/health campaign, Coke Studio and Sprite Cricket All Stars. Each one of these initiatives has served to underscore our longstanding ethos to ‘Live Positively’ and ‘Open Happiness’.
